Bosa is a little town set on the Temo valley river (the only naviglable river of Sardinia) near a crystal clear sea and it is overlooked by the Malaspina castle, where the houses of the Medieval centre develop descending to the Temo river bank. This is the beautiful landscape of Bosa: green century-old olive trees, blue sea, the pink colour of the houses, the red and yellow colour of the typical fishermen's boats. Bosa is famous for its beaches and for the sand with high iron content, which is used to cure rheumatism. There are many creeks accessible only by boat, where the sea still keeps all its original charm. The uncontaminated coast offers beautiful natural landscapes, it is possible to make many excursions and to see the slow flight of the griffons, which nest in this region.
